I photograph families the way they actually are: joyful, a little chaotic, and completely in love with each other.
I'm Sami Norton, a family photographer based in Utah. I believe the best family photos aren't the ones where everyone held perfectly still. They're the ones where your toddler belly-laughed, your kids piled on top of you, and you forgot the camera was there.
My sessions are relaxed and playful on purpose. We'll mix a few beautiful posed portraits (the ones grandma wants) with plenty of candid, in-between moments, because that's where your family actually lives. My editing style is colorful and film-inspired, with soft tones that feel timeless instead of trendy.
Photography is my creative outlet, and getting to make art for a living still feels like a little miracle. On weekends you'll find me out on some kind of adventure with my kiddos, and my dream night in is a clean house, a fun show, and a beautiful family session to edit.
